Sunflower seeds are full of goodness for the garden bird and the GardenTwitter feeders with these seeds are our most frequently visited feeders. Sunflower seeds are full of protein and oils and supply the birds with energy.

They like both Sunflower hearts, i.e. shelled seeds, and those with the shells still on but the hearts are an absolutely ideal food as the bird doesn’t have to do anything else except swallow them!

These seeds will attract most birds to your garden and are a must if you’re just starting off.
